lg_03s_11.jpgNope that's not an Acer Ferrari or a Sony Vaio.

It's the LG Electronics LW20-EV. The first ever laptop with a built in EVDO receiver. With this technology built in the computer can wirelessly access data at speeds up to 2.4Mbps. Access to EVDO networks allows one to surf the internet literally on the go.

In Korea this technology is backed up by phone company KTF who also worked hand in hand with LG and Intel to develop this laptop. It runs on the Intel Sonata platform and has a built-in double antenna that allows users to switch to WiFi if required.

The LW20-EV was launched in Korea today. And is expected to be sold worldwide.

Via Press Release (Korean).
