cingular-lg-cu500-cell.jpg The LG CU500 was launched by Cingular during July and got a review at InfoSynWorld with a 77% pleasing result that goes in the Very Good category of cellphones. With a price tag of $99 and being the first handset cellphone on Cingular using HSDPA technology, the final result can be considered upright. One of the praises goes for the fast 3.5G HDSPA connection of Cingular that is able to download and buffer videos from the Cingular Video and Mobi TV in a matter of seconds, on the other hand, while streaming and watching the content there is a problem with the video image that is small when compared to the size of the TFT screen, making it hard to watch any kind of video – it's missing a full screen function.

The music section ranked good with one or two not so good features like the microSD card slot to (expand the memory) being placed beneath the battery making it a pain in the ass to use, little details count a lot. Other areas evaluated include the camera, messaging and calling that all ranked good, but in the end Cingular could improve this cellphone taking by removing some of the useless extra features and putting a better camera for example.
