LG Electronics and Alltel Wireless have just introduced the LG AX390 which is also equipped with Alltel's Touch2Talk walkie-talkie service. The service not only lets one upgrade walkie-talkie calls to regular wireless calls but also lets one send messages to all members of a Touch2Talk group. Another cool feature found in the service is the ability to receive "buddy alerts" when friends or co-workers become available for Touch2Talk calls.

The LG AX390 measures 1.8" x 3.3" x .9" and sports a smart clamshell design. This CDMA handset is basically for those who don’t require frills like cameras, MP3 player and it can be categorized as a work phone.
