3000V12W_04_webready.jpgThe good folks of Lenovo have just gone ahead and launched a new 12'' Widescreen Notebook. The new Lenovo V100 according to Lenovo is the ultimate in portability and style. The notebook looks tempting not only because of its decent specs but also its non exorbitant price range.

The Lenovo 3000 V100 can be configured with the latest Intel Core(TM) Duo processors which means that you can multitask and run a number of memory hogging programs without the notebook freezing up. For a greater visual experience Lenovo has thrown in a VibrantView display which promises unbelievable striking contrast and color depth. The 12 inch display unlike the traditional LCDs deliver 20 percent greater data space and four more spreadsheet columns. The LCD is also designed to give optimized performance even in low light conditions and can be viewed from a number of angles. The V100 also sports the renowned Lenovo fully sized keyboard and includes connectivity options like an integrated 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN and 10/100 Ethernet. Users can also opt for the optional Bluetooth option.

The Lenovo V100 includes the critically acclaimed "Lenovo Care" productivity tools so say hello to hassle free computing and goodbye to sleepless nights. The toolset lets you organize high-priority tasks, frequently used applications and help and support tools by a touch of a simple button. The one-button system recovery lets one diagnose, get help, and recover systems after a virus attack or a system crash. The on board Automatic updates features downloads and installs all the latest updates and the Easy connectivity results in easy wired or wireless set up.

Some other features found on the new Lenovo V100 include, a 5-in-1 multi-card reader, three USB ports, a 1394 and VGA port, dual integrated microphones, forward facing stereo speakers, a built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera, an integrated combo or DVD recordable drive. An optional integrated fingerprint reader is also available too and the notebook would start shipping form today. Prices start from $1099.00 and vary according to configurations.
