Lenovo ThinkPad Z61 Series
All the models in the Lenovo Z60t series feature the cutting edge Intel Duo Processor and are the lightest 14 inch and 14.1 inch widescreen notebooks amongst the top 10 notebook class. The ThinkPad Z61t may be lightweight when it comes to design but it has all the features of a heavyweight champion. The notebook weighs just about 4.5 pounds and has an incredible battery life of almost 6 hours. The Z60t is powered by the cutting edge Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology, the Intel Pentium® M processor or Celeron M Processor. Thus thanks to this option anyone can afford the new Z60t series. The notebook series also include PCI Express Integrated Graphics card and boasts of ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1300 and X1400 chipset to deliver state of the art graphical performance. It includes options for Express Card slot, Secure Digital card slot and PC Card slot and one can also opt for the integrated camera and stereo microphone as an option. The Z61e is almost similar to the configuration except that this notebook model would include a 15.4" widescreen option, thus making it more pockets friendly.
The Lenovo Z61m notebook series may not be as thin as its Z60t cousin but still looks like another winner from the Lenovo quarters. They are the perfect solution to demanding work places or versatile home use. The Z61m notebook can also be configured according to ones need and users for enhanced performance opt for the Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology too. The Lenovo ThinkpadZ61m has a bright 15.4 inch widescreen display and weighs about 6.6 pound. This notebook is not bulky at all and in fact is just 1.6 mm thick. This too includes an ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1300 and X1400 chipset, options for Express Card slot, Secure Digital card slot and PC Card slot and one can also opt for the integrated camera and stereo microphone as an option. The Z61m also runs on the Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system and has a full sized keyboard.
All the above models also has come common features including 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi capability and an integrated wireless WAN (WWAN) for connecting to Verizon Wireless' high-speed nationwide network in the U.S.They include the new ThinkVantage Technologies by Lenovo which incorporates some important features in the centre dashboard for more enhanced security. Other features found on the series include, Wi-Fi wireless10, Bluetooth® technology, Gigabit Ethernet, dial-up modem, 3 USB ports, IEEE 1394 and a secure digital card S-Video, VGA, headphone, microphone and an infrared port.
