lenovo_01.jpgLenovo is the third biggest PC supplier in the United States and they have just announced their new high-end notebook, ThinkPad G50 which will be available immediately through the Lenovo website with the price of 206,850 (USD1,783). G50 sports a 15-inch TFT LCD with the highest supported resolutions of 1400 x 1050 and it is powered by Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz processor running on optional operating system of Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. It features a Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset, 512MB DDR SDRAM with 2GB maximum, floppy disk drive, 100GB SATA HDD, and DVD Super-multi drive. Going online with high-speed transfer won’t be a problem with the built-in IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN and Ethernet LAN port. There will be four USB 2.0 ports at the side of the notebook, parallel port, microphone jack, PS/2 connection and TypeII PC card slots. Upon a fully charged Li-Ion 4 cells battery, G50 could last up to 2.5 hours of system operation. It weights 260 grams with the size of 329 x 283 x 37.
