Lenovo 3000 V100 Notebook Coming Soon
Lenovo finally unveils the most anticipated V100 from new line of 3000 Vseries Ultra-portable notebooks. Weighing around 4 pounds, which is just a touch on the higher side for an ultra-portable machine, it features a 12.1 inch widescreen 1,280x800 display and also boasts of a sleek design. Also the most noticeable thing is the for an ultraportable notebook, the Lenovo 3000 V100 offers some nice perks, such as built-in optical drive on the right side and boasts of features such as FireWire, 3-in-1 media card reader and ThinkPad like keyboard.
Additional specs include Core Solo and Duo processors having clock speeds from 1.66GHz to 2GHz to choose from and also upto 2GB of memory also boosts up the performance. On the storage side customers can choose hard drives from 40GB to 100GB all running at speeds of 5400rpm. Other key features include fingerprint reader for security, port replicator/docking station ability and a wireless on off button. The V100 will likely come equipped with a Pentium M ULV processor, although all final specs are not settled. The V100 is not the thinnest or the lightest in the business but for surely has its nose in front when it comes to price tags as the baseline configuration costs just $1,099.
