No doubt pink is the new black especially in the hi-tech world. With the invasion of pink phones, mp3 players etc, one shouldn’t be surprised by a pink storage device. The LaCie Skwarim 30GB pocket hard drive sure stands out from its contempories on looks and is pretty eye-catching. However don’t be fooled by the frivolous design, this little device is a performer too.

While I am not sure exactly what Skwarim means or how its pronounced, this little trooper has a 4,200rpm job with 2MB of cache and weighs just 99g(Pretty and Petite!). It has a 30GB storage capacity and for easy connectivity a built in USB cable with a LED power indicator. It’s small in size and thus extremely potable. No word on pricing or availability yet. Who knows maybe the pink obsessed Paris Hilton will get one too!
