Virgin Mobile USA has just unveiled its new metallic ivory handset called Oystr, by Kyocera Wireless. This new handset is targeted at the teens and thus carries a pretty affordable price tag. Appropriately named Oystr, the phone sports a white clamshell body and includes an internal color display, two-way speaker phone, text messaging, and customized Virgin Mobile hardware. The company has kept the phone simple yet functional and will also appeal to first time users.
The Oystr will appeal to the trendy youth not only for its cool white form factor but also for its fun features like Web browsing, access to Virgin Mobile content like wallpapers, screensavers, and Superphonic (a.k.a., real-music) Ringtones.
