phone_k822.gifKyocera Wireless Corp, a leader in wireless consumer products has announced a new clamshell phone with a dedicated music player. The tri-mode CDMA Kyocera K822 was first shown at the recently held CTIA Wireless in Las Vegas and is a mid range phone with audio playback with dedicated keys on the outer body of the phone just beneath the 4k color CSTN external display.

The Kyocera K822 also features a brilliant 1.9" 262k internal color screen and has a 1.3 mega pixel camera which promises vivid and brilliant images. It includes support for MicroSD cards for music storage and can playback audio formats like MP3/AAC/AAC+. One can enjoy flawless audio either thru the provided headsets or the built in speakers. Some other features seen on the phone include a FM tuner, Bluetooth 1.2 (with A2DP stereo headset support) and an infrared port. No word on availability but it should carry a price tag of US$140.
