Kodak Cameras Win red dot Product Design Awards

Three of Kodak's digital cameras - the EasyShare ONE, V570 and P880 - have been awarded the 2006 red dot award for Product Design. The red dot award annually draws more than 2,000 products from over 41 countries.

With the award for the three cameras, Kodak has firmly established new design standards for their ease of use and high performance. Check out the features on the three cameras and find out yourself why they deserved to win:

EasyShare-ONE:
The world's first (and only) digital camera that allows you to e-mail pictures and view complete online photo albums without using a computer. We checked it out on the Whack a few months back.

EasyShare P880:
An 8-megapixel camera that is touted as an alternative to bulkier digital SLR cameras. Check out our take on it.

Kodak EasyShare V570:
A stylish camera that features the world's first dual-lens system, providing both ultra-wide angle and zoom lens - packaged in a body that's just 1" thick. This camera debuted at the 2006 CES in January, when we wrote about it.

Way to go, Kodak! More info on the cameras is available from Kodak's website as usual.
