When an 8 megapixel camera makes an apperance, can a slightly lower-end camera be far behind? Of course not, assures Kodak. Next in line after the C875 will be Kodak EasyShare C743, a 7.1 megapixel digital camera.

The Kodak C743 offers a now-default 3x optical zoom. Like the C875, the C743 features a 2.5" preview LCD. MPEG4 video is the norm, allowing you to shoot VGA resolution videos - allowing playback on a TV.

Available starting late September, the Kodak EasyShare C743 7.1 megapixel carries a price tag of A $249 (US $190). Not many details are available at this time, but check back with us soon. This one also features the Kodak Perfect Touch technology for brighter photos.
