KW2.jpgKenwood recently in Japan launched an in vehicle DVD Player which will make all those road trips a riot. Since my Japanese is not that fluent I’ll stick to the basic features (forgive me). The new VDR-55 is an in car DVD Player which also supports formats like DVD +/- R/RW and is a full fledged audio player too. The system is able to play audio formats like MP3 files and WMA files and can also record WMA files. The player is also compatible with the almighty iPod and the corresponding monitor, the LZ-702IR is a 7 inch widescreen LCD.

KW01.jpgThe TFT LCD has a resolution of 336,960 pixels and has been designed to view the video both from the front and back seat. It includes a built in MOS-FET 50W×4 high power amplifier for unrivaled performance and the optional IPod interface unit lest you navigate your iPod with ease. The VDR-55 should be available in June for 47,250 Yen and the LCD for 57,750 Yen.
