Kenwood launched the new HD30GA9 Media KEG portable media player device, boasting a 30GB hard drive and a 2.2" QVGA LCD screen. Like most other gadget sites, we are Japanese-illiterates, so we will do our best to translate the press release using Google language tools.

The HD30GA9 Media KEG will be available (in Japan as of now) in November. The previous version HD20GA7 was already a hit with consumers thanks to its treble quality and digital amplifier, and the new version incorporates the same.

You can connect the KEG to your home entertainment system as well for a true-to-life audio experience. Coupled with the optional canal-type headphone, the KH-C701, you get high-quality sound; the design also eliminates extraneous noise.
