victor_surroundadapter.jpgStuck with dual-channel headphones and yearning for surround sound effect? JVC has just the thing for you: the new SU-DH1 surround sound headphone adaptor uses Dolby headphone technology to deliver 5.1-channel surround sound through regular two-channel headphones.

The SU-DH1 is highly portable - about the size of your wallet, weighing in at 3.5 oz with 2xAA batteries - and can be connected to various sources of audio, including your laptop, video game console or portable DVD player.

One of the neat things about the SU-DH1 is the inclusion of Dolby Pro Logic II, allowing it to deliver the surround-sound experience. Users can choose one of three Dolby headphone modes: DH1 for a studio environment, DH2 for a listening room environment and DH3 for a large concert hall environment.

In addition, you also get Pro Logic II settings like Auto, Movie and Music. Expect the JVC SU-DH1 Surround Sound Headphone Adaptor in March with a US $130 price tag. The batteries last for about 10 hours according to JVC. More info is available from JVC's website.
