The latest navigational device to come under our scanner is the JVC KD-NX5000 which actually is not your run of the mill GPS Device. The JVC KD-NX5000 also moonlights as a DVD/CD receiver and is equipped with a 40GB Hard Drive!

The JVC KD-NX5000 sports a 1-DIN form factor and one also comes across a 3.5 inch screen for viewing navigational data. Out of 40GB, 16GB is used up by the navigation data which includes 3 million POI’s and pre-installed maps of US and Canada. Other nifty features include; Bluetooth capabilities with optional Bluetooth adapter,built-in RDS/TMC tuner and satellite radio. Expect it to retail for around 1100 bucks around February!
