iTower ZipConnect Speaker System
If you want a booming yet cool looking home speaker system to accompany that new Apple iPod of yours, check out Sharper Image's iTower ZipConnect Speaker System. This 42 inch tall tower employs four aluminum-cone speakers which are aligned vertically and one, one inch tall true-dome tweeter. Can't find where the bass is coming from? That's because the subwoofer is built right into the base of the unit itself.
The iTower uses a unique connection system called the ZipConnect Module which allows it to connect to any audio device - not just the Apple iPod. Of course if you plan on using the iTower for the Apple iPod, you can always get the optional ZipConnect Module designed specifically for the iPod.
All ZipConnect modules have an 18 inch retractable cable system which means you can pull the audio device away from the speaker system without having to actually disconnect the cable. That's a pretty cool design. Of course the iTower probably looks best when paired with an Apple iPod. You can purchase a second iTower for added oomph to the entire system. A single iTower will set you back $199.95 but it might make a great Christmas gift for that loved one of yours.
