iStuff iCast Universal FM Transmitter
iStuff announced the new iCast Universal FM transmitter, allowing you to play music from your iPod, MP3 player or laptop and listen to it your home or car stereo FM receiver. Starting autumn 2006, the UK will open up to low-power FM transmitters, so now's the time to grab this little fella.
iStuff claims great signal clarity and ease of use for the iCast. Thanks to its standard headphone port, you can virtually connect any device and enjoy all-round audio. Requiring a single AA battery to operate, it can also be powered by your car's cigarette lighter adapter.
The iCast boasts 199 broadcasting frequencies in the FM range - wide enough so it doesn't interfere with radio stations or other transmissions within that range. A backlit LCD screen gives out clear readings of the frequency.
Available now for GB£29.99, the iStuff iCast Universal FM transmitter weighs just 30 grams. Quick specs:
- Frequency Range: 88.1 ~ 107.9 Mhz
- Stereo Separation: 40dB
- Life Time: Max 18H (AAA 1.5V Battery)
- Size (mm): 87 * 23 * 22
