iriver_g10.jpgiRiver in Korea has just launched a new gaming console, the iRiver G10 which also makes its debut at CES 2006. The device takes advantage of WiBro or Wireless Broadband for a wireless gaming experience. The device features a 4-inch WVGA (800x480) 262K color LCD, and either 4GB or 8GB of storage. It also features a built-in voice recorder, image viewer and MP3/video player. The iRiver 10 might undergo further revisions before it is released to the public. It remains to be seen if it will end up a worthy competitor to the PSP. Via Aving (Korean).
The device features a sliding design. The screen slides upward to reveal the controls.
