Imation SwivelPro USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Imation unveiled the new Swivel Pro Flash Drive, a USB 2.0 flash drive with enhanced design that makes it easier than ever to transport and share large files. The upgraded features of the Swivel Pro include an improved one-step swivel cap that firmly snaps into place and an asymmetrical shape so users can easily identify the top of the drive to connect to a USB port. It's all about usability this time.
For those annoyed with the messy lanyard, the Swivel Pro flash drive comes with a quick-release lanyard to quickly unleash the drive for transfering files. Ah, if I had a penny for every time I wished for something like this...
The speed has been upped by almost 50%, giving a read-speed of 12MB per second. Add to it a USB 2.0 interface for blazing-fast transfers. Oh, and it comes with a very prominent blue LED to indicate data transfer. Just about the size of an AA battery, the Swivel Pro weighs less than one-half ounce. For those wanting security, Imation also provides free software download that can be used with the device.
The Swivel Pro will come in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB capacities. Prices range from US $24.99 (128MB) to US $199.99 (2GB), and more info is available from Imation's website.
