Okay with the competition hogging all the limelight the folks at i-mate had to take notice and have finally released the details of the new i-mate JasJam. This mobile device promises to give the almighty O2 a run for its money and you can pre-order the phone on the official i-mate store. The new i-mate JasJam is will be powered by a 300MHz CPU and includes 64MB of onboard RAM. This Windows Mobile 5.0 device also boasts of a 2.1 MP Camera and is a bonafied MP3 / Video Player too. Connectivity options include GPRS / UMTS / HSPDA, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and SDIO/MMC Slots. The device packs quite a punch and is capable of 300 hours of Stand-By and 5 hours of Talk Time. The JasJam weighs just about 3.3 oz and includes a high definition 2.8 inch display. Software applications include Internet Explorer, Pocket Outlook, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket PowerPoint, Skype and X-Backup. No word on pricing or availability.
