htcs620_141x204.jpgThe HTC s620 is one hell of a High performance (very very smart phone) handheld mobile navigation solution. The super sleek and stylish HTC s620, makes on the go work attractive beyond simple. Slim; as in coming in at just 12.8mm thin, [full dimensions being 111.5mm (Length) x 62.5mm (Width) x 12.8mm (Thickness)] and compact while weighing only 130g with battery, the s620 still manages brilliant display with a large 2.4 inch color QVGA screen and fully integrated QWERY keyboard (ah.. the ease of a fully present keyboard).

This is also the first device to feature HTC's JOGGR(TM) touch sensitive navigation bar control pad with variable speed- and drag and hold, ensuring appropriate settings and accessibility to a wealth of its included sharp tools. The device comes armed with programs such as Outlook Mobile(R) via direct Push functionality available with Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 5.0; delivering instant access to your email, Word Mobile, Excel(R) Mobile, PowerPoint(R) Mobile and PDF viewer; for document browsing on the go… all literally physically at your hands tips.

The HTC S620 also offers a comprehensive range of connectivity options: to actually get your information where it needs to be read. Present is the Quad band GPRS/EDGE, a WiFi(TM), and Bluetooth 2.0 (TM) as well as a wireless stereo connection option. Extra perks include the housed ROM of 128MB and 64 MB of Ram with a MicroSD expansion slot, an HTC ExtUSB, and a 1.3 mega-pixel camera.

The device will be available under the HTC brand as well as in customised versions for operator partners. HTC has already lined up leading European mobile operator partners for these new devices and will be available across Europe from October 2006.

This smart phone spells success and apparently as intended. Florian Seiche, Vice President of HTC Europe commented: "Being able to offer the best customer experience on a dedicated device is extremely important for us - no matter if it is for email, navigation or multimedia focus.” And with the s620 all is really in the hands of anyone who decides to go mobile smart. Instant access to email, calendar, contacts; delivered anytime…

Flashing back to meet the maker- HTC is growing rapidly in Europe. Its Local presence has extended to Italy and France, with plans for Germany, Scandinavia, Russia and Spain by the end of the year. Founded in 1997, HTC made its name as the company behind many of the most popular operator-branded devices by establishing unique partnerships with key mobile brands, including the leading five operators in Europe, the top four in the US, and many fast-growing Asian operators. The company has also brought products to market with OEM partners and under its own Qtek brand. In June 2006, HTC consolidated to a single brand identity in Europe to resonate with both partner and end-user audiences. HTC is now one of the fastest growing companies in the mobile device sector.

The HTC S620 smartphone is a break-through form factor for HTC.
