The company has just unveiled its new handheld device which promises to be the one stop solution to all digital entertainment needs! The HP iPAQ rx4000 Mobile Media Companion series sports a palm-sized design and promises non-stop on the go entertainment.

The multimedia device is equipped with a 2.8-inch-wide anti-glare touch screen interface and digital files can be viewed either in landscape or portrait mode. It plays almost all formats under the sun and is outfitted with a scroll wheel for easy navigation. The series uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Software for Pocket PC as its O.S. and has a host of connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Via its Wireless capabilities one can check their email on the go or even indulge in some good old net browsing and downloading. This one supports VoIP too and making free PC to PC calls and low cost landline or mobile calls is pretty simple. Thanks to its Bluetooth capabilities one can hook the player to any supported mobile device or wireless stereo headphones. Other applications include; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
