HP M425 Digital Camera
What did I tell you? HP is on a digital camera spree at the 2006 CES, and this is proven yet again with the announcement of the HP Photosmart M425 digital camera.
The Photosmart M425 is a point-and-shoot 5 megapixel camera featuring 3x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom. A rather small 1.7" preview LCD screen could have been avoided, instead opting for a 2.5" screen.
With HP Photosmart Express, it's a snap to share photos on Snapfish (no pun intended). The camera has a fast shot mode where you can take pictures of fleeting shots with very little lag. It supports an SD slot to expand on the 16MB available on-board. With the photos, you can take prints up to poster size - good enough for most of us.
While no pricing has been decided, expect the HP M425 around April 2006. More info is available from HP's website.
