HP iPAQ HX2490 Pocket PC
HP released the HP iPAQ hx2490, another upgraded version in the hx2000 series, expanding their line of iPAQs that incorporate data and device security features.
Like the other devices in this series, the hx2490 also runs Windows Mobile 5.0, and comes with HP ProtectTools for strong data encryption. At 144MB of user available memory, you can fill it with some of the most common applications and games and still have space for pictures and stuff. Built-in Wi-Fi enables you to go online whenever you are within reach of a hotspot.
As I previously said, I wouldn't touch a device Bluetooth these days. Thankfully, the hx2490 doesn't disappoint me. With CF type II and SD card support, you can top-up your memory according to your needs - so you have a great degree of flexibility there.
Other features include Windows Media Player 10 Mobile - giving you access to photos, music and videos. A USB 2.0 connectivity completes the bundle.
