It's void of all bells and whistles found on more expensive systems, but it performs well and comes with the basic necessities—namely a 40GB hard drive, a DVD/CD-RW combo drive, and an AMD Sempron processor, that will get you through the daily grind.
There are no aesthetic differences between the Sempron- and Turion-based V2000s. You'll find nothing flashy here. The design is conservative: a silver case with a black interior. Carrying it around the house, campus, or office will be a breeze, since it weighs a very portable 5.4 pounds (system) and can easily slip into most laptop bags.'
