HP unleashed another powerhorse featuring Intel Core Duo technology, the HP Compaq nx9420 Notebook PC. The Hp nx9420 showers some 17" loving with a widescreen display. Compared to the currently available offerings from HP, it is thinner and lighter.

For a 17-inch laptop, HP claims an impressive 4-hour battery life. With SATA built-in, you can choose large, fast hard drives for your data - leaving protection to HP's Mobile Data Protection 3D, which can protect data from shocks and vibrations.

A 17" monitor would be of no use without a comparable graphics card in place. Which explains why HP chose ATI's Mobility Radeon x1600 graphics card, making the nx9420 suitable not only for work but play as well.

Slated for release later this month, the HP Compaq nx9420 Notebook PC is priced at US $1,499. Details are available from HP's website as usual.
