HP Compaq nw9440 Notebook
HP has just launched not one but two notebooks which promises high end functionally and superior performance. The first one to make its debut is the HP Compaq nw9440 Mobile Workstation which is perfect for the work environment and features advance technologies like powerful graphics capabilities and Intel Coreâ„¢ Duo processors.
The HP Compaq nw9440 is basically not for the home users and sports a very business like design. It includes operating systems like Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, and FreeDOS. The Intel® Core™ Duo processors T2400 to T2600 ensures high end performance and even makes multitasking a breeze. The notebook has all the trappings of a high end product and boasts of a High-resolution 17-inch widescreen LCD with wide-viewing angle technology. Infact the VGA port supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 at 75 Hz, and lower resolutions at up to 100 Hz. Users can also buy the optional HP Docking Station with DVI port which is capable of supporting resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 at both full and reduced blanking, and 1920 x 1200 at reduced blanking.
If all this wasn’t enough the notebook also features the renowned NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M graphics controller with 256 MB of discrete video memory. Thanks to this people in professions like interiors, design etc can take full advantage of the high end graphical display. The HP Compaq nw9440 comes with a Fully ISV certified which makes the notebook compatible with most demanding applications. Since it’s basically designed for the work environment HP knows the importance of protecting the HD and making the notebook durable. Thus it includes HP Mobile Data Protection System 3D which is capable of detecting motion and helps protect data from shock and vibration.
