HP Compaq nc8440 Notebook
The new HP nw8440 by HP is a one stop solution to all portable computing needs and is ideal for working professionals. The HP Compaq nw8440 Mobile Workstation packs a punch and incorporates the ATI Mobility FireGL V5200 graphical processor which would be ideal for high demanding multimedia workplaces which involve 3D images, graphical drawings and visual presentations. Thus the new offering by HP Compaq will appease to all kinds of work situations.
The HP Compaq nw8440 incorporates the Intel Duo technology for cutting edge performance and users can choose from Intel® Core™ Duo processors T2400 or T2600. For a better visual experience one can opt for a 15.4-inch WSXGA+ wide viewing angle display or 15.4-inch WUXGA wide viewing angle display. The notebook comes preloaded with the Microsoft® Windows® XP OS and FreeDOS and one can either opt for a DVD-ROM; DVD/CD-RW Combo; a DVD+/-RW SuperMulti with Double Layer; or LightScribe DVD+/-RW with Double Layer. It comes with 512 MB of standard RAM which can be further expanded!
The notebook is also Fully ISV certified which is now days essential for any good workstation. This seal of approval mainly proves that the notebook can work in the most demanding environments too.
