HP Compaq 6320 Notebook PC
As the Intel Core Duo processor technology makes inroads, we have many more manufacturers adapting this technology. HP is another one to follow suit, with the introduction of its new HP Compaq 6320 Notebook PC, powered by the Duo technology.
The HP 6320 is noticeably thin and lightweight - great when you are constantly on the move. But the Duo is not the only great thing you can look forward to in this notebook: you also get several options to go wireless, including my favorite, mobile broadband technology (using Verizon's broadband access network).
Biometric security is built-in with a fingerprint reader and, of course, HP ProtectTools Suite. Other goodies included by HP are an integrated 7-in-1 smart card reader and TPM 1.2 module.
Although I'd have liked a bigger screen, the HP 6320 is a tad disappointing - with the option for a 15" TFT XGA or SXGA+. A useful feature is the HP Fast Charge technology that charges the primary battery 90% in 90 minutes, and then charges the secondary battery to 90% giving you enough juice to continue working.
Prices start at US $1,049, and details on the HP Compaq 6320 Notebook PC are available from HP's website.
