Hitachi W42H CDMA 1x Win Mobile Phone
No it hasn't landed from a galaxy far far away and any resemblance to the iPod is just a coincidence! Meet the Hitachi W42H CDMA 1x Win mobile phone which comes with "customized bangles"! Say again, Bangles? If you are as confused as me, well read on!
By bangles, Hitachi means the two silver lines running through the mobile which can be replaced according to ones' tastes and how much spare time one has! The W42H has a nifty feature called 'Double scene' which switches from Business Mode to Private Mode in seconds and can change settings like wallpaper, ringtones etc in a jiffy.
The Hitachi W42H has a number of features including; a 2.1 megapixel camera, 6 Mobile Dictionaries for all the budding linguists, Infra-Red, PC Site Viewer, IC Recorder and 6 hours of play time for online music service. Our Japanese pals can also use the Osaifu-Keitai', e-money service and its navigational capabilities.
If your the type who carries sensitive data on the phone or a member of the secret service then via the 'Remote delete' function you can erase all the data from a remote location! Pretty cool ain't it? The handset also has an internal memory of 50MB and a dedicated music player. This one alas will only be available in Japan for now!

Hitachi joins the list of KDDI phones that were launched today. Not to be left behind, Hitachi also made its presence felt with the launch of its W43H mobile phone. The phone features a 2.6-inch large 240x400 TFT display. One of the highlights of the phone is the battery backup, as it can last approximately a good 4 hours when viewed continuously, unparalleled by any in the market in its class.
