hipi-2200dfg.jpgParagon Wireless has updated their portfolio by launching a dual-mode smartphone, the hipi-2200. The handset sports quite a ‘hip’ design with its sleek ergonomics and ultra slim form factor! This one ain't your usual run of the mill phone and the handset is also the world’s first SIP-based Windows Mobile 5.0® dual-mode handset! Which in English means that it sports VoWLAN/GSM brand technology under its pretty hood and you don’t have to be a genius to switch from VoIP to cell networks!

The hipi-2200 uses Windows Mobile 5.0 as its O.S. and also has a 2 megapixel shooter and a 1.9” 176x220 pixel LCD. In this feature crazy world, the handset can safely holds its own thanks to the onboard MP3/MP4, camcorder/recorder, expansion slot for microSD and the phone is also internet friendly. The battery is capable of 4 hours of talk time, or 200 hours standby with GSM and Wi-Fi working simultaneously. No word on pricing or availability as of now.
