Griffin RoadTrip - FM Transmitter and Charger for iPod and iPod nano
Griffin has come out with a new updated version of their RoadTrip product for the Apple iPod. The new version supports all versions of the iPod with the dock connector (this includes the new iPod video and the iPod nanos). What exactly is the RoadTrip? It's a single product which combines a high powered FM Transmitter, an iPod auto charger, and a convenient iPod cradle into one unit.
With the proliferation of iPod car accessories in recent years, one quickly found that they could easily have all sorts of products in their car just for the iPod. Griffin attempts to address this by merging three things into one device. The RoadTrip transmitter can be set to transmit music to any FM frequency from 88.1 to 107.9. It has a backlit screen that will show the current broadcasting frequency and can be easily adjusted using front buttons.
One final yet really cool feature is the ability to detach the FM transmitter module from the RoadTrip. You can then attach the transmitter to a PC or Mac via the USB port and transmit audio from your computer to an FM stereo close by.

The RoadTrip is a great FM transmitter and car charger for the iPod in the car, but what makes RoadTrip truly unique is its removable transmitter module that can also broadcast music from a Mac or PC. The package includes a combination USB power and audio connector cable that attaches any USB equipped computer to the module. Users can then play their iTunes music, movie audio or presentation sound to any FM stereo close by.
The RoadTrip is compatible with all docking iPods, including the iPod nano and the new iPod with video. iPods with FireWire ports on top (1st and 2nd gen) will not work with the RoadTrip.
