griffin_ampli.jpgGriffin technologies, one of the finest makers of iPod accessories (my personal opinion based on experience) has released a couple of new products in time for MacWorld 2007.

Amplifi is a new 2.1 speaker system for iPods that is designed with a unique wood construction and an "acoustically tuned enclosure." Two front-firing 2-3/4-inch neodymium drivers and a 5-inch down-firing woofer provide clean, crisp and power sound

Standing out from this design is a metallic volume control knob outlined by soft blue glow. On top is a iPod dock that fits any of the six included iPod adapters (compatible with all iPod versions). Users also have the option to use any other audio device that supports the 1/8" or 3.5mm input jack. The unit also comes with an IR remote control.

Pricing and availability has not been released but we can expect working demos at MWSF07 next week.
