I hope Griffin does not mind me copying that off their site but that marketing line says it all and has just made me want one of these new AirDocks. Announced on its website today, the yet to be released AirDock hopes to be the ultimite pod for your iPod.

I can just imagine it now. When I get home I pop in my iPod into the AirDock and all the new podcsts that were downloaded when I was away are synced over. I leave it in to charge while I have dinner. While doing that I hit the remote and play a couple of songs from that new album I just got.

You can view movies or video too because the AirDock connects to a TV or Stereo with the included Griffin HomeConnect Cable. Charging need not be via USB also because of the included Griffin PowerBlock.

I know I've got you all excited but we need to wait a while longer before it hits retail stores (maybe even longer for guys like me who live overseas).
