psp-skin-bg-big.jpgSony Computer Entertainment America today revealed to the media its plans to launch a “greatest hits” title for the PSP. This would include popular games like Ape Escape(R): On the Loose, ATV Offroad Fury(R): Blazin' Trails, Hot Shots Golf(R): Open Tee, Twisted Metal(TM): Head On, and Wipeout(R)Pure.Sony had big plans for the Greatest Hit series and also revealed its decision of including 15 third party games in the near future. Let’s now look at the titles briefly:

Ape Escape: On The Loose- This game is the PSP version of the Ape Escape Series and is suitable for all ages. The game contains a set of mini games which anyone can play and the basic storyline revolves around 200 plus monkeys and their plans to change history. Users have to capture these monkeys and prevent history from changing.

The next title in the Greatest Hits series is the ATV Offroad Fury Blazin' Trails which as the name suggest is a high paced action racing game. The action takes place off road and the game includes wireless multiplayer connectivity support. The game will thrill users with several off road choices like a training course, and race modes such as race, freestyle, career or any of the various mini-games.

Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee will delight all the golfing nuts as it features six new character customization options like body parts, accessories, clubs and balls. The game also supports wireless multiplayer connectivity and gamers can indulge in matches like two person matches, eight-person tournaments and two-person miniature golf rounds.

The next game in line is a car combat game called Twisted Metal: Head-On. It also allows wireless connectivity and players can play against each other and cause total mayhem. The game includes a great set of cars equipped with
machine guns, turbo boosts and Tthere are special attacks for each car. This game is a great way to let go off road rage!

Last in line is the game called Wipeout Pure which is also an auto racing game and includes 16 futuristic, racing tracks. Thanks to wireless networking up to 8 players can indulge in this game and have a blast.
