Get Ready for Mobile TVHere's some good news for proponents of mobile television: according to pilots on broadcast DVB-H mobile TV services, consumers are looking forward to this revolutionary service with as many as 83% being satisfied with it.

The pilot, which involved transmission of live digital TV content over DVB-H networks to a Nokia 7710 smartphone, was conducted across Finland, the UK, Spain and France. If things go right, consumers can expect a monthly pricing model, in the range of €10/month, or less.

Other insights gained from the pilot include the fact that lunchtime happens to be a popular time to catch up on the telly, and the type of content included news, sports, music, soaps and documentaries - which is very interesting.

Nokia will be readying the DVB-H capable N92 for a summer 2006 launch. Further info on the pilots is available from Nokia's website.
