There is new PSP external speaker system on the block (another one?) and it goes by the name of SonicBoom by Gear4! This one too is friendly with all the iPods and the lesser known MP3 Players of the world and is a 2.1 stereo speaker system with sub-woofer ActiveBassâ„¢ technology. One can dock their PSP on the SonicBoom and apart from playing audio, it also charges the PSP. Sporting the now trademark black and white color combo, the SonicBoom may just work for those looking for cheaper alternatives!

The docking system includes two-metre-long cable connectors, to enjoy full gaming mode and thanks to the stereo jack component, is compatible with a whole gamut of players! It will be available in September and would retail for around $100. For more info check out the Product Page
