untitled3.bmpGateway, third larget PC company in US and among the top ten worldwide, today unveiled two convertible notebooks which deliver high-end mobile performance with the flexibility of a Tablet PC to let customers take handwritten notes, draw diagrams, edit documents and enjoy a range of pen-based applications. Among the two is, the Gateway CX210 notebook which replaces its predecessor, the CX200, an award wining model.

The Gateway CX210 boasts of a unique design, which enables users to convert them from a notebook to a tablet mode with constiment ease. Featuring a 14-inch widescreen magnesium display, the CX210 is virtually powered by a Intel Centrino Duo Mobile processor also compliments other high end features like, SATA hard drives and Dual Channle memories. Also customers can choose from two different graphics accelerators, optional dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics or standard integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics.

The Gateway CX210 features a digital pen’s Continuous Sensing Technology, which attributes for a very crisp writing with deadly accuracy, which is very essential for a tablet pc. On the connectivity side of it, the notebook features an integrated 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi for connecting to campus and wireless hot-spots, and Bluetooth connectivity for a personal cord-free connection to headsets, printers and other peripherals and not to mention the USB2.0 ports which it has three of them.
