110139148_51454946e8_o.jpgThe Garmin nüvi 360 has been reviewed by the folks at PC Mag and let’s see what they have to say about this GPS navigational device. They like the 360 for its Bluetooth capabilities, its hands-free speaker, its intuitive interface, and it’s compact and sleek for a factor. However the fact that language and travel guides are optional and not a part of the package didn’t go well with them. Also the inability of the device to store a phone number when creating a new Favorite location was an irritant to, according to the site.

The Garmin nüvi 360 is an upgrade to the nüvi 350 and includes both wireless and Bluetooth capabilities. It comes loaded with maps of Europe or North America, and sports features like automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, turn-by-turn voice directions that announce street names, and a fingertip touch screen interface. It also has an optional FM TMC traffic receiver where traffic jams can be avoided by taking alternative routes. e nüvi 360 includes multimedia tools like MP3 player, audio book player, JPEG picture viewer, travel alarm, currency converters etc.

The review ends on a positive note and says “Overall, the addition of the Bluetooth phone interface did nothing to damage my opinion of the nüvi. The nüvi 360 is a winner. And for those who already have Bluetooth-enabled phones, or are planning to get one soon, the nüvi 360 is definitely a good thing”.
