Garmin has announced that the features on its popular GPS devices will now be available for select BlackBerry devices. This service will be subscription based, and most will be able to use on their BlackBerry alone. However, some customers may need to combine their BlackBerry with the GPS 10x or GPS 20SM. Both of these can connect to the BlackBerry via Bluetooth wireless technology.

Garmin mobile was the first cell phone navigation system that depicted the user’s position with a moving map. It is designed to give customers voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions and offers incredible features including real-time fuel prices, traffic, even weather information. So far, there is no word about the price of a subscription.
