Garmin Mobile 20 : Make your smartphone even smarter — with GPS and Bluetooth® wireless
The Garmin Mobile 20 – an automotive navigation system is a godsend to all those frequent travelers as it incorporates GPS navigation and hands-free calling capabilities to the current lot of smart phones including Nokia, Windows Mobile and Treo. Some other features include a highly sensitive GPS receiver, a Bluetooth-enabled speaker, a microphone and an integrated phone mount.
The Phone mount of the Garmin Mobile 20 has a built in wireless speaker and microphone for hands free functionality and the intuitive navigational software includes a data card similar to other Garmin devices and includes superlative navigational features. The Mobile 20 is also extremely user friendly and the software installs itself and just plugs in the data card into smart phone for complete use.
Other feature includes SMS integration, built-in suction cup and phone charger and wireless data services to customers with Internet access on their phones. Like all Garmin devices it also includes maps, automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, and turn-by-turn directions. It will be available in July 2006 but there has been no word on pricing.
