The LifeBook comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor security system, and the hard drive is protected by a special shock sensor. If it’s multimedia you are looking for, you will enjoy the Windows XP Media Center Edition or Genuine Windows XP Professional Windows Vista. Other features include a Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer, Integrated Bluetooth Wireless, Wi-Fi, and 3 USB ports. All this, plus a spill-resistant keyboard. (Just don’t ask how they test it.)

The Fujitsu LifeBook A6010 laptop is available with 1GB of memory for $1,099. You can also spring for 2GB for about $1,369.
