Mobileplay unveiled the service targeting BlackBerry, Treo and Pocket PC/Windows Mobile based smartphones. While the content is free, the service is also seen as an innovative advertising platform for media companies. Presently, Volvo Cars and Microsoft Office are charter advertisers.

You can access a variety of information, including trivia, travel information, movie times, stock updates, sports, etc., from Mobileplay's huge list of sources that include Gawker Media, About.com, Astrology.com, PC World and other major sources.
