Wireless services company FON, announced the release of their tiny wireless router- "La Fonera", costing only five dollars.The device emits two SSIDs and allows you to create a private and/or a social channel.

FON works on the idea that sharing is caring, by splitting your (at your discretion of course)
wireless signal to other FON users, and allowing you to log on to FON signals world wide.

Users can enjoy WiFi everywhere for free, or make money from others accessing their Access Point. People who share their signal get free FON connections mapwide. "Aliens" who do not, pay a three dollar day pass charge.
