We're not foolin with you, back in South Africa where they get 300 days of sunlight a year they've come up with a product called the Flexopower - "a portable solar power generator and energy bank that converts sunlight into electricity and stores it!"

The technology is based on highly efficient, unbreakable, solar panels which can store and charge at the same time. With enough solar energy available all you need to do is plug in your device and charge on the go. It will power any 3.7 – 7 Volt device.

The Flexopower comes either as a stand alone product (Flex Easy), a pouch (FlexPouch) and a backback (Flex Back Pack). They retail in South Africa for $100, $130 and $200 US respectively. An online store for international orders is expected to open in January.
