SmartDisk has just unveiled a new portable high drive, the FireLite Xpress which not only is compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand but also includes a cholesteric LCD. This is pretty unique as it doesn’t require any batteries or external power to run and thus is the ultimate in portability. The FireLite Xpress comes in both FireWire and USB 2.0 models which are bus powered and can run via the USB or FireWire cable on the computer. Its available in capacities like 40GB, 60GB, 80GB, 100GB and is compatible with operating systems like Windows 98SE (See note 2), Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP Mac OS 8.6, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X 10.1 or higher.
