FIC Eagle I GPSThink that GPS navigation systems are products of luxury only for the super rich? Well, think again.

First International Computer (FIC), based out of Taiwan, has announced the launch of their latest GPS navigational device, the Eagle I. The unit is priced at $299! Talk about affordability in navigation. It's ultra-portable, weighing in at a mere 130 grams. At the same time, it does not skimp on features for cost.

The Eagle I provides standard features such as turn-by-turn visual and voice guidance (in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian languages), trip planners, audio alerts, 2D/3D graphical maps, text instructions and fingertip operation. It also features a complete mapping of the United States.

My opinion: extremely good value for money.
