FCC Approves Nokia N92 TV PhoneOne of the true mobile TV phones out there, the Nokia N92 has gained the FCC approval and is on its way to meet the targeted release date of mid-2006. Initially available in Europe, Africa and Asia where DVB-H services are available, it should head to other countries in a while.

The N92 boasts of a big 2.8" anti-glare QVGA screen capable of displaying 16 million colors. Dedicated media access keys enhance the user experience. What's more, an Electronic Service Guide (ESG) contains info about the available channels, programs and services. A S60 3rd Edition device, it is compatible with a whole suite of popular S60 applications and games.

An XpressMusic device, the N92 can store up to 2GB of data - equivalent of 1500 songs. A 2-megapixel camera and FM radio receiver complete the lot. Pricing is in the range of €600. I wonder why the Nokia N93 was approved before the n92.
