FCC Approves Motorola L7i GSM Phone

The Motorola L7i GSM phone just got FCC approved. Featuring Bluetooth and a multimedia player, the L7i comes in a candybar design. It has the ability to send MMS messages apart from standard text SMS.

While it's not clear what the supported resolution is, the L7i does have a camera and you can also shoot video clips on it. There's also a slot for installing a memory card (which appears to be an RS-MMC, but again this is not mentioned in the manual).

The L7i also features an IM client. Thanks to its USB interface, you can use the phone to make data calls. With Bluetooth, you can also print to a compatible printer. Java support means you can download readily available applications and games for your phone.

No word on the pricing yet, but thanks to the approval, it should hit the streets soon.
